GilGaladI did this piece as a birthday gift for my wife, who wanted a portrait of herself in Gil Galad's armor from the Fellowship of the Ring prologue sequence. You probably don't remember it because the character appeared onscreen for all of about 2 seconds.
|
Rey and BB-8An Inktober illustration of Rey and BB-8 from Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Add this to the list of pieces I'd like to color at some point.

Western DeepA pinup for the graphic novel collection of the fantastic webcomic Beyond the Western Deep, by Alex Kain and Rachel Bennett. Check out the series HERE.

MouseGuardA pinup I did for David Petersen's Mouse Guard Winter 1152 series. I actually wish I had gone another route with this as it shows a scene straight from the book and I now wish I had done something more whimsical or not directly related to the story. Plus, the owl is way too small, a concession I made to fit all the characters into the shot. Still, there are some things I like about the piece so I'm including it in this Gallery, but personally, I think David's awesome series deserved a slightly better pinup.
|
Wise IntellA pinup for Ryan McLelland's Wise Intelligence comic series. Clearly I had a good time with this one as I got to draw a number of sci-fi fanboy favorites. And I really like how the Revenge of the Nerds movie poster turned out with the color holds and all.

TMNT Tales 25Pinup done for Tales of the TMNT #25 comic, copyright 2006 Mirage Studios, Inc. This piece was an experiment in using two radically different styles and was a warm-up for what I'd be attempting on the Meltdown comic. |
TMNT mailI did this image as a mail header for the Tales of TMNT letters page. |
SimpsonsA very old drawing I did of the Simpsons cast as characters from Star Trek: The Next Generation. I think this may have actually been the first time I ever touched Photoshop, which I used to drop in the colors. |
